Our Dogs

Odie
Odie is a special Golden Retriever donated by a local family who had kept him in the garage and no longer wanted him. We happened to know a little girl who needed him. Odie is a skilled companion and "control factor" to keep his girl safe from consequences that she cannot understand.
Maddie
Maddie was found in a local shelter, but why she was there will always be a mystery. Her Mom has RSD and Maddie helps with walking, retrieving and might be providing some inspiration for her Mom's artwork.
Reese
Reese is a chocolate Labrador Retriever donated by a breeder. He helps his Mom manage her diabetes and neuropathy by alerting to health issues, assisting with walking, retrieval and generally taking care of things.
Guinness
Guinness is a smart Labrador Retriever who brought her owner to us for training! She knew that she could help with her owner's MS, but just needed a few skills which she learned in record time. This is one amazing dog!
Meeko
Meeko is a Golden Retriever donated by a local couple who no longer wanted him. Our gain once again! Gentle Meeko and his motivated Mom are constantly learning new skills together and really show us what a dedicated team can accomplish.
Duchess
Duchess is a busy Boxer brought to us by her owner for training. Since her owner had laid the foundation for service, Duchess was well suited to continue and has truly earned her keep. Duchess helps mitigate her owner's Lupus with walking, retrieval, carrying and endless antics.
Duncan
Duncan is a cute "doodle" dropped off at the shelter 3 days before Christmas. It might have been his best present! This energetic boy turned into a wonderful helper and companion and brought great joy to his Mom by helping with walking, retrieval and excellent snuggling.
Gabriel
Gabriel is a big red dog found running loose, and from the looks of him he had been running for a while! He is a big love, sweet and willing to please. He helps his Mom by providing walking stability and retrieval.
Ryan
Ryan may be an unknown breed, but we would take a thousand more like him. He and his litter-mates were found in a deserted barn. Ryan helps his Mom with walking, retrieval, carrying, shopping and traveling.
Travis
Travis is a Labrador Retriever that had everyone at the shelter believing that he was a big bad dog. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Once he found out that he really COULD be a good dog, he has made it his mission to be the best that he can be. Travis help his Dad with walking and retrieval and alerts to his seizures. Good Boy!
Happy
Happy is not only happy, he is very patient. After spending nearly a year in a local shelter, he passed our test with flying colors and started training. Happy has been helping his Mom manage CP and seizures, has finished college and had some interesting adventures.
Benny
Benny is a very special Border Collie mix. He has taken his young owner through junior high and beyond and takes his job quite seriously and with a special spark.
Alex
Alex is a big Labra-dane found at a local shelter after trying to throw his weight around. Well, we just put that size to good use. Alex helps his Dad with walking and retrieval and manages his Dad's seizures.
Russell
Russell is a chocolate Labrador Retriever donated by a breeder. Russell helps his Mom in many ways and considers himself to be the perfect minister's assistant.
Cooper
Cooper is a Golden Retriever found at a local shelter. From the instant he saw his trainer he was ready to work. This boy manages his Mom's seizures and provides excellent companionship.
Spencer

Spencer is a special Yellow Lab picked up at a local shelter ready to learn.  After going through final training Spencer was happy to go home to his new Mom. Now he is a wonderful wheelchair service dog helping his Mother in any way he can, including retrieval, doing doors, carrying objects, and being a wonderful heating pad! He also alerts to seizures and migraine headaches.

Dawson
Dawson is a big Labrador Retriever from a local shelter. This sweet doofus has helped his Owner maintain her "farm" despite her RA, and even helps raise the chickens and collect the eggs.
Quincy
Quincy is a husky mix who burst out of a local shelter wiggling with excitement about his new job. The wiggles continue as he helps his Mom walk, retrieves, carries, alerts to seizures and keeps a smile on everyone's face.
Image Coming Soon Grace is a very unique dog found as a pup in local shelter. Being a big black dog with an unusual face, she would never have been adopted. This talented girl now helps her owner teach kindergarten, even acting as line leader when necessary.
Sully
Sulley was given to us by a local family who no longer wanted him. We did! Sulley really won the prize and is now working in Hawaii with his young man.
JJ

JJ is a big Rough Coat Collie who was raised by his owner with an eye towards using him for service.  She did a great job, and with a little training assistance JJ is now a tremendous help to his Mom.

Kelsey
Kelsey is a Border Collie mix rescued from  local shelter. She is smart and has attitude! She went to college with her Mom and is doing a great job, although still refuses to help with homework.
Sam
Sam is a big German Shepherd mix from a local shelter. This gentle giant helps his Dad walk, retrieves, carries and is a friend to small children everywhere.
Hunter Hunter is a Golden Retriever found at a local shelter. Hard to believe that he was not wanted! Hunter is working hard with his new Mom, helping her walk, retrieving, alerting to seizures and being a wonderful friend.
Image Coming Soon Josie is a fabulous Golden retriever found at a local shelter as a rambunctious “teenager”. This lovely girl is helping her Mom in so very many ways, and skills are only a part of it. Everyone smiles when Josie arrives.
Amos Amos is a Labradoodle steered to us by a local rescue. This cute boy flew through his training and helps his Mom deal with her severe RSD issues.
Darby
Darby is a Labradoodle found at a local shelter. This smart girl has gone off to college with her new Mom.
Katrina

Katrina came into our program as a puppy from a local breeder and has grown up to be a fantastic dog. Katrina works with her Mom’s wheelchair, retrieving items, opening doors, and generally getting out and about!

Aaron

Aaron, a Goldendoodle, was taken from a barn where he had spent the first 7 months of his life. Aaron was so delighted to have a life that he flew through training and is working with his Mom by retrieving, carrying, opening doors and being a clown.

Kai

Kai is a Terrier (?) mix found at a local shelter. This happy boy helps his Mom manage her epilepsy and keeps everyone entertained with his expressions.

Roca

Roca is a wonderful Labrador Retriever donated by our favorite breeder. He is a smart boy and is helping his Dad with a wide variety of skills to help with his spinal cord injury. Roca has quite literally opened doors for his Dad, enabling him to get out any time he feels like it.

Griffin

Griffin and his brother Taylor had been roaming unattended on a farm before they came to our program. Griffin helps his Mom manage her diabetes and heart condition, helps her walk, retrieves and carries, and is a wonderful friend.

Taylor

Taylor and his brother Griffin had been roaming unattended on a farm before they came to our program. Taylor has finished his training and now has his own person. He alerts to her seizures and assists with walking, retrieving, and college courses.

Finnegan is a sweet Labrador Retriever seized by a local SPCA in a starvation/neglect case. Who could do that to such a wonderful dog? Now he is helping his new Mom manage her Fibromyalgia symptoms and service as her motor and willing helper.
Meg
Meg is an adorable black Labrador Retriever from a local shelter. This little dynamo was born to work and is flying through training. She will soon be helping her Mom, who has CP, by opening doors, retrieving, carrying and assisting with vision issues.
Manny

Manny is a Golden Retriever donated by a local breeder. This smart and fun-loving boy has grown into a wonderful dog and will soon be assigned to his future job. He has already conquered Disney World with his Puppy Home, so future adventures will be a breeze.

Sam

Sam is a handsome Standard Poodle donated by a local breeder. Sam is a sweetheart, very affectionate and loving and quite a clown. This sweet boy now takes care of his young girl, assisting with seizures and greatly improving her ability to walk.

Becker

Becker is a Rough Coat Collie found at a local shelter. We have no idea why no one was looking for this gem. Becker is living with his new Mom and helping with retrieval, carrying, doors and general clownish behavior.

Porter and his brother Miller are Standard Poodles donated by a local breeder. What fun they have been to raise! Porter is working on his advanced training and hopes to be helping his new person soon.

Miller

Miller and his brother Porter are Standard Poodles donated by a local breeder. What fun they have been to raise! Miller is living in Texas now with his little girl, alerting to seizures and med levels, helping with schoolwork, and trying to get himself invited to the “Girls Only” club.

Daisy is a very cute Labradoodle pup donated by a local breeder. Her Puppy Home describes her as the Best Puppy Ever and somehow we might even believe them. She has started her advanced training and seems very excited to learn these fun new jobs. She will help her new Mom walk, work with her wheelchair, retrieve, carry, and supply a huge energy field!

Cyrus

Cyrus and his sister Molly were found running loose and picked up by a local SPCA. Cyrus is shy and sweet, but has learned so many things to help his new Mom.

Brody

Brody is a sweet Golden Retriever from a local farm. This adorable pup is being raised by a Puppy Wrangler as part of a school project. We can’t wait to see how he turns out.

River

River is a German Shepherd Dog from a local breeder. This puppy is growing into a big boy and will be a big help to his future person.

Geoffrey is a Labrador pup from a local farm. He was our first pick, although siblings Caleb and Hannah were not far behind. This big sweet boy is a delight to his puppy home.

Caleb is a Labrador pup from a local farm. He is a big boy like brother Geoffrey, and is keeping his sister Hannah very busy with playing. His puppy home adores him.

Hannah is a Labrador pup from a local farm. We had only planned on taking brothers Geoffrey and Caleb, but this little girl kept auditioning for the job! We are so happy that we have her.

Riley and sister Ariel are multigenerational Labradoodles donated by a Texas breeder. These two sisters could not be more different. We can’t wait to see how they grow up.
